The Town of Scituate has seen a growing interest in public recreation facilities. Because of this, a project called the Green Acres program was developed. We now have Hope Park (Clinton Ave.) and Gorham Field (Route 101).Each of these parks have baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts. The Town is always upgrading and creating more public recreational areas. Look below for other recreational points of interest in Scituate. |
Rule and Regulations All parks are for public use. Many of them are used for team sports as well. The parks are open from 7:00 am to 10:00 PM, 7 days a week, unless otherwise posted. |

This is when the Scituate Citizen of the Year is also named. |
